Dear,
A new academic year begins and I would like to thank the students, faculty and administrative staff for the one that has just ended. It was a rewarding academic year for our institute. Many of you have appreciated the quality of the teaching given and the hospitality of the administrative staff (secretary, study management and academic management) of your institute.
The results of this school year are positive and I congratulate you. It ended with a success rate of 100% in the national master’s examinations in Statistics and Econometrics, then in Risk Management and Actuarial Sciences. This confirms the excellent results that we have been obtaining at ISMADE for several years; i.e. 100% success rate in Masters and more than 80% in Decision Mathematics license. These efforts must be continued to maintain the image of our university. However, your various points of observation will be taken into account for this new academic year in order to improve the close relationship with students.
We are approaching this 2022-2023 academic year with confidence and determination. The resumption of classes is set for October 17 for the last year (L3 and M2) of the bachelor’s and master’s cycles, October 24 for the rest.
This academic year is mainly marked by the move of our annex from Gbégamey to the headquarters of the institute in Calavi Zopah in order to bring together all of our activities in one place for greater efficiency.
We also welcome the development partnership that we have signed with SOUMARE University in Ivory Coast in order to strengthen ties between African universities.
Finally, the relationship between ISMADE and European universities is further strengthened with the acceptance of our students at the University of LAVAL in Canada and French universities such as the University of Rouen, Nancy, Brest and Nice.
I wish you all an excellent start to the 2022-2023 academic year.
The Director,
Dr. BATHOSSI Damien.
